BRIAN MUNROE, DEMOCRATIC CANDIDATE FOR STATE REPRESENTATIVE FOR HD-144

I’ve been dedicated to public service my entire career. From my younger days as a volunteer firefighter and EMT, to my time in the Navy, my years keeping the streets safe as a police officer, and then as an elected official—this is just who I am. I work tirelessly to make my community a better place, and running for State Representative is no different!

This campaign isn’t about me; it’s about the things that matter to you. The residents of the 144th need a community-first representative with experience, who isn’t in it to push party politics, and who will stand up for you, your family, and friends.

As a firefighter and EMT, in the Navy, as a police officer, then as an elected official – I’ve worked tirelessly standing up for my community, and I’ll do the same for you in Harrisburg!

I’m running to serve our community and protect your rights.

We need to ease the pain of every trip to the supermarket or stop at the gas pump, protect the equal rights of all, protect our water and our environment, and bring quality jobs to our district. Voting rights are off-limits. This used to be common-sense stuff!

We need a living wage in Pennsylvania! Everyone should be able to afford their groceries, pay their bills, enjoy life, and expand their horizons. My outside-the-box approach to government will bring a unique focus on these challenges and I will reach across the aisle to get it done.

Brian stands for and with our community.

Today I had the honor of touring the Elbow Lane School in Warrington for their 55th anniversary. The grounds are amazing and special shout to Lisa Puchalski and staff, who are even more amazing. The highlight of my visit was the chance to read my favorite childhood book Corduroy to some of the students.

The school and staff were presented with citation awards from the PA House of Representatives and I was awarded with some wonderful student artwork and welcome cards.

Thank you Elbow Lane School for a wonderful visit. Looking forward to my next one!
